Ha-ha at Doctor Who. I lost interest in the modern one after a fairly long while, because I'm on the side that thinks Moffatt got too big for his own good, but... well, a lot of the Classics have a definite charm and beauty to them, warts and all, and... I don't know, the ethos of doing the right thing because it's the right thing that's present in a lot of Doctor Who (and that Moffat kind of trampled over with his Look at All This Cool Stuff Happening and / or Look How Dark and Cool We Are kind of programming, even though it still was there now and then, thankfully) really, really appeals to me. On the other hand, I can totally understand that someone has a hard time finding all that underneath All The Stuff Happening and the current Whovian fannish crazy. I stopped identifying as a Whovian because frankly I don't cry whenever reminded of Rose or any of that, and don't need to keep stumbling into that crazy when indulging my own personal fandom love and interest.
Also, Voyager: I confess to having been spoiled in advance and never having watched the ending and never having found the courage to do so. Technically, I don't particularly mind the thought of Chakotay with Seven and simply staying very, very good friends with Janeway ('cause I'm also firmly on the Gen "Friendship is a valid form of relationship" side of fandom), but if they really went with it as stupidly as I hear they did... I don't need to watch that, that's what God gave me imagination for, to put it bluntly. :D
