The Rat Patrol is back on TV, and now all I want to do is write terribly self-indulgent followups to The Rule of Threes Raid where Susan Pevensie, Gentle Queen and former spy, goes on adventures in the desert with Hauptman Hans Dietrich.

But OMG, I need to work on NFE.

Well... I'm suffering from similar problems. Not Rat Patrol-related, but... I really ought to be working on NFE and I feel like doing all sorts of things BUT that.
After the reveal, I might even be able to disclose why. :D

I hope it's something that good that is going well for you, Marmota! I have it on good authority we'll be getting an additional week btw. I hope so because otherwise I'll never get my treats done.

The outside reasons are visiting family and stuff, yeah, pretty much all good. The inside reason that was blocking my creativity isn't really bad, either, just basically bad luck in getting an idea I loved but wasn't having much incentive to write right now, and is what I will only be able to reveal after the reveal. :D

Hooray for nice family and other creatively-distracting-but-good things :-) On the writing front, I look forward to hearing about it later - and in the meantime, I’m sending encouragement to you and your muses!

Apparently it helped, because yesterday I wrote the majority of the story - all that's left to do now is to fill a couple of gaps and to clean it up. Yay!
